Myofascial Release is:

A whole body therapeutic approach that is safe, gentle, and highly effective in releasing many pain complaints, and imbalances from fascial restrictions (tightness, pulled feeling from inside of our bodies) affecting our posture and symmetry.

Myo comes from the muscle, and fascia comes from the connective tissue. Everything in the body (muscles, organs, bones, joints, nerves, cells, and the innermost part of each cell) lies under the connective tissue (fascial system).

Myofascial Release treats the cause of the pain, not just the symptoms.

Testimonials:

My name is Sharon and I would like to share with you my five year journey of pain. It possibly all started with my two hour round trip drive to work everyday, or not. I am a Physical Therapist Assistant and my job consists of lifting and moving people, not unlike many others daily living, only I work with people.

As a clinical therapist I have access to many procedures to decrease pain, such as electrical stimulation and modalities for deep heat, exercises and stretches. While all of these things worked they only provided temporary relief. With time the pain increased, and I continued to search for relief. I had relaxation and deep tissue massages, and again with only temporary relief. I also tried chiropractors with no relief.

Finally after much devastating pain that had now gone from my left hip to my knee, and by this time I also had back spasms to the point it was becoming very difficult to treat my own patients. My physician prescribed muscle relaxers and pain medication. Again temporary relief and a lot of fatigue.

At this time approximately four years from the beginning of my pain, my M.D. ordered a MRI. The findings were a pinched nerve. My life at this point was very depressed. Between constant pain and as many as six pain pills a day I was very despondent and did not know what to do.

As a therapist I knew pretty much my options, they were injections in my spine to block the pain or surgery, which with both there is no guarantee. At this time I met Naydu in the clinical setting. She shared with me the Myofascial Release technique. As a therapist I was aware of this procedure but knew of no one who used it in their practice. She assured me that she could ease my pain.

In a short period we lost contact and I lost her business card, only to find it a year later. With one phone call I was on my way to pain relief that lasted. Now with three treatments I am almost pain free.

From someone who started the day with a cup of coffee and a pain pill, and a lot of fatigue. I am now an energetic person who thanks God for placing Naydu in my life. As I stated I misplaced her business card, and one day in my despair there it was. I truly believe it was God working in my life.

Today I start each day with prayer of thanks and a new zest for life. With no depression and a new outlook for my future. Because of the gift that Naydu gave me, I feel I need to pay it forward, and provide this service to others. At this time I am looking to be certified in Myofascial Release.

To Naydu I give thanks for the relief I have experienced without medication or surgery. I believe God has given Naydu the gift to heal and increase the quality of many individuals lives. One treatment at a time.

I have been dealing with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and Fibromyalgia for over three years now. I had tried many things during that time but nothing seemed to eliminate the chronic fatigue and the ever-present pain. My mum happened to be looking through a magazine when she saw Naydu's advertisement for her therapies. We decided to contact her to see if she could help me. I didn't know what to expect going into my first visit with Naydu. I had heard of myofascial release therapy before but I didn't know very much about it. Naydu is extremely kind and welcoming and for the entire duration of my visit with her she was very thorough, explaining to my mum and myself more about myofascial release. At the end of my first visit I was very, very relaxed, which is an unusual sensation for me because I am in my second year of college, which has been very stressful. That night I went to bed feeling rather blissful. I didn't register being in any pain and my mood was very relaxed and happy. The next day was a miracle. I woke up at a very early time for me and when I tried to go back to sleep, I didn't really feel a need to actually do so, unlike usual. I had no pain at all except for a few tender points but I barely seemed to notice them. It was the first time I had felt like a normal human being since I had become sick. I was able to make it to class, I was able to keep up with my friends when I spent time with them later, I was even running up and down stairs. I hadn't been able to do that in YEARS. I was tired but I never felt the need to take a nap, which again is unusual for me. I was just so elated to feel this way after just one session with Naydu.

After suffering for more than 5 years from fibromyalgia, I was taking up to 8 pain pills a day and had almost no energy. A friend of mine recommended Naydu and even gave me a gift certificate to go see her. After the first session, I was convinced. I had Naydu put me on her schedule for the next 4 weeks. After the second session, I started noticing more energy and feeling like my old self again. Then one day, as I was getting ready to see Naydu for the third time, I realized that I hadn't taken any pain medicine for over a week! I would definitely recommend anyone suffering from pain to give Naydu a call. She can really turn your life around.

~Jessica

I've been to all kinds of doctors for my pain in the last four years, I've tried everything. After my first visit to Naydu I haven't taken any pain medicine. I feel like I'm getting my life back! Thank You God.
